Is it a crunch? Is it a push up? Could it be the burpee?
Maybe it's jogging? As long as you're in the "fat burning zone" right?

Well all of those exercises has their place and can definitely help with fat loss, however i believe one other exercise trumps all others. It's not necessarily seen as a fat loss exercise however if you do it right and heavy or even with high reps, it's a fantastic exercise to burn fat.

It pretty much uses the whole body and you need to activate every single muscle to do it.

It's the deadlift!

I just love the deadlift, and all it's variations. When you do a heavy deadlift, it takes everything out of you, you will burn energy which leads to fat loss, you'll build back strength, legs and your abs and core will work overtime. I actually think it's one of the best exercises for abs as well, but people still choose other things that gives them the "burn" and makes their abs sore.

​This is my doing some hybrid stance (mix between conventional and sumo) deadlifts. I did these for volume, 6 sets of 12 reps.
